So gibblet are you telling us it took you a year to be able to draw your bow and let it down without it going off? Or that you can't hit anything you aim at? Or that you have no control over the release? I am finding that hard to believe. My girlfriend did it in an afternoon. She isn't a world class archer, but she doesn't punch herself in the face when she shoots either.

And I'm not giving you advice, Im giving mobo my opinion based one what I have seen and tried. It sounds like he is so turned off by the idea now that it doesn't matter anyway.
