I had the same exact thing happen to me last year. Unfortunately, I never got a second chance. Although I did see the buck a couple of more times, it was never close enough for a shot. If he didn't "spook", you may be ok. If you are able it might also be good to relocate your stand.

The important thing is to learn from your mistake. There are several devices that you can purchase to prevent your arrow from falling all the rest. This year I personally switched to a whisker bisquit. I won't have that problem again.
