Default RE: Burris or Leupold???

I Agree with sniper151. Get a good scope. The fullfield is the best cheap scope out ther (except the Sightron SII). And the cheapest Leupold I would get is the VXII. Don't mess with the rifleman. It is not fully multicoated and is made in Asia (China I think)
However the Burris Signature series is one of the best scopes for under 450 out there. It is truly a magnificent scope. And the Leupold VXIII is around 479 and very well woth it. I always recomend spending on a scope what you spend on a rifle. You rifle costs around 700 bucks right? You can get a truly great scope in that price.
If you have to get a cheap scope (around 200 olr less) Make sure it is Fully Multicoated as opposed to just multicoated. So between the Laupold rifleman and Leupold VXI, I would choose the Fullfield. You can get them for 159 or so in ebay.
