Have you handled a stoeger 2000? I've read they are very similar to the SBE with regards to the way they handle.
Is this a dedicated turkey gun? Its hard for me to justify a $1000 price tag for a gun that only gets shot 10-20 per year.
But hey, its your money and the SBE is a sweet gun. I killed my 2 birds with one this year. I just recently boughta 24 inch nova to be my dedicated turkey slayer though as the SBE I was using was a waterfowlsetup with a 28 inch barrel. That thing was a pain dragging around in the bush.
