I got a cow elk with my muzzle loader the week after the bull archery season closed last year. I can give you some good pointers, almost to the point of exactly where to go.I would get one of Elknut1's videos (from here on the site), and get some good quality bugles. You can go about it two different ways. Bugle the bulls in, or use the bugle as a locator, and do a spot and stock, which is what we did last year. I would imagine there will be a lot of smaller bulls still around (I was seeing 6 pt bulls that were satellites, that couldn't even get any "action", because of the even BIGGER 6pt and 7 pt bulls that were kicking their butts), so don't take the first bull you see.
