I have a 54 T/C Hawken, same thing nearly. Mine will shoot very, very well with patched roundball and 80 gr of FFg black. It will not shoot a roundball well with Pyro, burns through the patches. If you lightly lube a relatively TIGHT patch and play with some loads of black, I bet you can get something you like.
