I don't think it matters i have always let fly out of the tree. being quiet and not hopping around on one foot needing to pee is a lot wprse. Had a doe walk up and lick the wet leaves below my stand. I also on the way out will make a mock scrape and pee on it. did this aa few days ago because I read about it and a buck kicked up a scrape abour six feet away the next day !!! Its only a theory.
