Took ole Mr. Extreme and sister to Clinton lake today. We put in at the Parnell launch site. That is the boat ramp closest to 74 and Farmer city. Water was really choppy and cloudy. We seen a lot of Puff's as we call them, as the carp took off. On a good day could have shot a bunch. Ended up shooting at shadows and where we thought they were. Boated only 4 with one pull off. Mr. Extreme had a tough day. We went up into one cove and there was a pile of them under a log with a branch looping over them but just in front. Of course he hit the branch. He did nail the last fish of the day and his first ever carp. So he was two for two, one branch, and one fish. Actually he was my chauffeur and drove the boat for me all day. Got to love it. He is now warmed up for another trip to big head land this weekend...johnny b.
