Out of all the american companies only 4 have gotten better with time and I am speaking only of Shotguns and Rifles. Ruger,Savage,Marlin and Kimber. The rest are in a decline. I won't blame it on union wages or anything like that either.In the long run most guns aren't touched for more than 1/2 hour by a combination of people when being built.Whether a worker makes 30 dollars an hour or 15 dollars an hour doesn't equate to an increase of a few hundred dollars in retail price. Place the blame right where it belongs ..CEO and theirmanagement of these corporations.
