RE: Bigfoot???
Until about 40 years ago, people thought that reports of large mountain gorillas in Africa were a myth, too. New species of birds and monkeys have recently been discovered in New Guinea. How do we know what creatures haven't yet been documented yet? It's not beyond the realm of possibility though it may be small that some yet unverified mammals are in remote mountainous regions, if they are primarily nocturnal and averse to human contact.
My dad grew up in N.E. MN and visited there for 55 years before he saw the first Gray Wolf himself. There were wolves there all along, their population relatively low for most of the 20th century. But then in the late 70’s their pop started to grow. Now it is not at all uncommon. My point is that I don’t ridicule out of hand what someone else says they’ve seen, just because I haven’t personally seen it and someone has given the creature, whatever it is a funny name.
If it’s real, eventually evidence to verify will surface. If it’s not, it’ll be uncovered as a hoax or misidentification of other animals. I find not need to pile on and ridicule something just because it’s not my experience.
