If those are your choices then I'd say get the Burris. I haven't heard to many good things about the rifleman. I agree with sniper151, you can get a vxII for almost the same price. Ever check ebay? I myself checked out the rifleman extensively and was a little disappointed thinking it wasn't up to par for a leupold when I looked through it.
