I agree. Go get the deer. I am a landowner and understand how the landowner probably feels about tresspassing. But I am also a hunter. See how that landowner would feel about his property taxes if all the hunters didn't buy licenses and tags. And if you do get caught tresspassing, I'll bet you could argue humane treatment of game animals and get off, or at least get to plead 'no contest'. Good luck and keep us informed as to what happens.
