Here's how mine's coming in its beginning stages...
Gotta give props to Huntingnet ya know, with the big sticker on the door and the Huntingnet hat in the upper right-hand corner!
The 2x4 you see on the wall separating the OSD board and the pegboard runs the full length of both walls, and is secured in at every stud with two nails blown in with an air nailer. It'll serve as part of the main support for my countertop, which is currently laying in the next room. I pulled a major coup on that one; went to buy some oak plywood and found a distributor willing to sell to me who normally supplies all the local cabinet makers. I bought a pre-finished maple, cabinet-grade piece of 1/2" plywood and had it ripped in half for my counter. It's absolutely beautiful; I can't wait to get it in there in front of that wood-grain pegboard.
I love being able to hang up all my Seat O' The Pants harnesses and keep them straight and untangled...
Unfortunately, I've got a work trip taking me out of town for the next four days, so I won't be able to get any more done on it fora while. And that's the reason I made this post; hopefully when i get back, I'll have lots of ideas to incorporate before I finish it!
