Some interesting comparison's of a conical to your sabots. Granted this is figured with 70 grains of Triple Se7en ffg and a Hornady Great Plains 410 grain conical. I used the speed of that bullet from the chart, but figured it as a 460 grain No Excuse Conical.
Granted these big conicals drop fast after they reach their intended POI and even though they are going slow, look at the energy they retain. Something I did not add to this chart, but according to the ballistics calculator I use it says I should not be shooting at any animal larger then 473 pounds at 200 yards. Kind makes a deer a dead duck in most cases..
