My b-day is coming up and my wife usually has me go and pick out something I'd like. Well I decided to go to the shop today and see if anything caught my eye. Well I stroll over to the bows, pick up a Tribute, draw it, feel it, etc. I've alreay shot one, so I know how it feels. Then I get into a conversation on how everybody on here loves this bow and then the guys at the shop are like, it's the best hunting bow out...yatta, yatta, yatta.

Apparently I've been a great husband this year. ..she's going to kill me. Anyhow, I can't wait to fit it up and enjoy it. But I hold all you Tribute fans responsible.At least that's what I'll tell her. Just had to share.

Okay guys, here are a few pics of my new Tribute. Tribute, 70lbs, 27" draw (short arms), TR Dropzone rest, new G5 LE sight. Love it. It's quiet, short, light and faster than I expected with the short draw. The G5 sight is awesome. Very bright and the white ring surrounding the sight really makes it stand out in your peep. I had the G5 peep installed, but had a last minute change of heart. It's was just too big for what I was going for at 1/4". I will say, had it been smaller, I wouldn't have taken it off, the blue really made it easy to align in your peep. Just my luck. Perhaps after I get to shoot it awhile, I'll reinstall it. Only got 40 or so arrows through it before the rain tonight and on the next to the last, ripped fletchings off one of my arrows. Not bad after only 40. It's a keeper for sure. I just hope I don't wear it out before season. Really smooth as well. Can't say enough good things. Here are some pics.
