Well after almost 30 straight days of getting up at 4 in the morning the NY turkey season is now over, it was an awesome season being able to call in a bird for my girlfriends little sister in first few minutes of youth season and mid-season callin in a big old longbeard for my best friend. My season was finally complete when i harvested a bird at 7:30 this mornin it was only a jake but i was hungry for some turkey meat and decided he was the one to do it! It was hard work callin this bird for 2 hours but he came in at 50 yards and mymossberg 535 with federal mag-shock did the trick, i would like to thank all the guys on here for all the good advise you have given me since this is only my second year turkey hunting, my family dont huntso you all were the ones who taught me just about all of it that allowed me to take my second wild turkey ever, i really appreciate it!
