Default RE: hawgs limited scents

Best Deer Scent I have ever used. WOW

Well each year I try out a new scent but this year I believe I am about to stop that.

I started using Hawg's Limited - Buck Fever Synthetics.

http://www.hawgslimited.com/

Well I put out 10 scrapes using the pre and post no real hitting or sign of any until I went back WOW they opened up a scrape on the center of property been over 10 years since they did that.

Had an area that had a rub and about the size of my thumb and just 10 feet away I put it on a cedar tree about the size of calf and wow they are just tearing it up.

Then counted 37 rubs on or coming into the property.

The saturday before I put out a mock scrape behind a stand and put the camera on the trail going the other way.

Had four deer tracks in the scape and no pictures on the camera. Took them the opposite that I have seen them travel.

Sat I put out the BF Rut at 6:30 a.m. in the scrape they started had deer droppings and the scrape had been torn up when I got back to it about 9:30 a.m. could have missed it in the dark but either way good sign.

Put some BF Fgland in a cansiter and move camera to it at 2:00 p.m. and left then got back at 7:00 a.m. the next morning wow one picture and deer dropping thrown out and scrape torn up. Will either way take pictures out of camera this weekend and will post the results.

This weekend hope to make a long scent drag with the rut to see if one will follow in on his rubline.

I have yet to see a deer react to it but if thing keep going like I think I may not switch next year most buck sign ever in one year.

Ok moved camera to a scrape that became active on its own First week of Oct. in the middle of an area, after I started using the Hawg Synthetic Mock Scrapes around the area at the end of September.

I moved the camera at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday Octber 26th and hung Hawg Buck Fever Forehead Gland sent in the orange Tinks scent container you see at the top of the two of the pictures.

I also put the Hawgs Buck Fever rut scent in the scrape the same time.

Had first picture that night from a big mature doe at 2:29 a.m. Sunday October 27th.

Then this 4 pointer came in at 12:28 p.m. on October 28th.

Then young doe came in at 5:36 p.m. on October 28th.

Happy Halloween
Then this brute came in on October 31st at 4:32 a.m.

Notice the canister and the limb hanging down. The scape was bare not grass at all as of saturday and had that canister laying on the ground with a nick on the side of the canister and the limb was twisted and was on top of the main limb.

Then the final picture of a 4 pointer notice the limb is gone and so is the canister.

Picture taken November 1st. at 4:47 p.m.

P.S. this week at 10 and 8 pointer taken less than 3/4 mile away and less than mile away a 14 pointer was taken by a kid Sunday.

Also I had the 4 pointer 10 yards from me on Saturday after he grunting coming up the hill and at 40 yards going the other way I used the Primos Can Call and he turned and came in on a string.

Also that was the second deer of the morning and a 6 pointer was seen eating acrons by another in the group.
