Default RE: Marine Battery

My best luck has been with Sears Batteries.Haven't bought one in 4-5 yrs as store is about 40 minutes away.

Don't remember who makes them, but always got 3+ yrs out of any of their batteries. I've always tryed to get hold of the 900 amp battery. If you fish around alot of slop weeds, algae etc... that tend to load up the prop and put more demand on battery. The bigger the battery the better, and usually get more trolling time. Always worked for me

Batterys are like getting the best gas milage outa your vehicle - it all depends how you use it and under what conditions.

BTW - I hope you guys have better luck with Wally Wal-Mart batteries.
I never got more than 2 yrs out of 2 batteries I purchased there.
Strike 2 - your outa here - never buy another.
