Yes I believe does also lip curl. It's just not noticed as much because most people only watch deer in the fall. And in the fall, when the bucks are in rut, they lip curl a lot, whenever they smell something unusually and trying hard to smell it, or a lot of the time, just searching for scents.Last Friday and Saturday night, I had 2 nice bucks lip curling, when the wind changed and blew right toward them. Does will do it to, but rarely, compared to bucks.
