Good info kids... Still wondering why I upgraded to the rifled barrel? Never tossed a slug at a deer further than 50yds and at that range the sluggers worked great with the rifle sighted smoothbore. Come to think of it, I used to thump them pretty good out of the 1100 with a 28" mod choke bird barrel. They did foul up the action of the 1100 and I am not the guy to give the action a proper cleaning. Still remember stripping an old marlin .22 and never getting itback together again. That was 25 years ago, but oncebitten. I really don't mind cleaning the barrel when sighting in any of my guns.Slows me down. Rock On...
