Yep, I have backups. When I go on trips I always bring two bows and anextrabroken in string for eaxh. No sense driving 1500 miles, horseback riding in another 9, hiking a few and then have your bow string break and not be able to do anything about it, of course if I was using a compound, I'd also have a portable press.
