I have not had problems with broad heads flying different than my field points since switching from thunder heads about 10 years ago. Every now and then, Id get a flyer with thunderheads. Ive never had a problem with slick tricks, Muzzy, orNAP fixed heads, or any mechanical.
Same here... When I shot Thunderheads, they always flew an inch or so low. No matter what. EVERY Thunderhead in the box flew like that. It was weird.... So when I chose to shoot them, I just compensated a bit and aimeda hair higher.
Nowadays with Magnus Stingers, Buzzcuts, and Slick Tricks, all of them are totally dead on with field tips. 10 yards, 15 yards, 20, 30, etc... I guess part of the fun is trying different arrows and broadheads to see which your bow prefers.
