Tonight, I was shooting a new batch of Carbon Express Maxima's through afresh bag target. On the first group, one of the arrows was a little difficult to remove. I
lightly wiggled it some while I pulled and the shaft suddenly snapped about three inches from the insert. I have shotseveral different manufacturers' carbons and I know this should not have been enough force to break the arrow. I work in the aviation maintenance industry and I know carbon composites are an 'all-or-nothing' propostion when it comes to strength.
I immediately stopped shooting the Maxima's for safety's sake and called Carbon Express but they're closed for the day. These were not cheap arrows...
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
