Pop, I agree with you except for one small detail - I have a 336 in 30-30 that my Dad gave me and prying $600 out of my wife for a rifle is no easy task. I wasn't trying to disuade anyone from a BLR, just was looking for opinions as to whether or not anyone thought that this ammo would encourage Marlin to chamber for the 308 on the 336 platform.
