Oldelkhunter they only recalled a small number of the 700's not all! you know i saw the cbs special report on the 700. i still would bet the one lady that killed her son pulled the trigger!!!!!i would bet most were operator stupidity! no all!

briman your right 94's are very dangerous. i have a trapper 94. it would be perfect for my 12 y/o to use. but i won't let him cause it has no crossbolt safety and letting the hammer the hammer could be dangerous. he uses a 700 youth in 243. dangerous gun! he has killed two poor deer with it that just happened to be standing in sights. he's going to carry it around saturday ,poor deer!and i even worked on the trigger ,crisp and smooth!
