Hey Dog,
DON"T put a nock on the string. That would be like putting a 22 rnd on each side of the string. String leeches hurt bad enough when they fly off and hit you, I can't imagine how bad a nock would hurt. The angles wouldn't work either.
Black marker, white out or a bit of string would be my suggestions.
