Default It's here...........

Got to shoot it a bit on Friday night at the shop before I headed down to PA and it is definitely a shooter. For accessories it will be wearing a doinker carbon elite 11.5" stabilizer, sword acu-site micro 3rd plane w/ .010's, GKF TKO Target w/ .010 blade and a new style STS. It is 70lbs and set right now at 30 3/8" dl. I already have pro 22's made up weighing in at 353 grains, so I imagine it will be pretty quick coming in around 315+ fps. Once I get to really develop a feel for it and get it all tuned and dialed in, I will post some thoughts later this week and I will post how fast it is going as well, we have a chrono down at the shop. I don't know what the heck I am going to shoot out of it for the NYS ASA shoot next month, probably some GT 30X's or 2512's or something really wide like that should slow it down enough and cut me a few extra lines as well.

Also am going to give these new Zebra strings an honest shot. I will put up an honest review on them once I have a few thousand shots or so and before it gets some nasty's installed. If they really suck I won't sugar coat it.

First impression is that the true 65% letoff with a nice valley and solid wall is what I have been dreaming of for a while. This is going to be nice. The grip on this is also the best factory grip I have ever felt and rivals the shrewds I have been shooting for so long. The other thing I REALLY like is that the bow has more mass weight than anything I have owned in the past, which is nice for us HC 3D guys that can't really add v-bars or side bars. I am a big believer in a proper ratio between holding weight and bow mass weight to minimize range of movement and slow down pin float, this is nearly impossible to obtain legally within HC rules and still have the bow balance neutrally in your hand. I am able to accomplish this with my Apex 7 and I never have been able to do this in the past with a bow that was legal for HC. It just seems to float sooooo slow and hold sooooo solid.

It seemed just a tad bit jumpier in the hand than my previous bows however it was nekkid then with no STS or other accessories at the time other than a used TM hunter rest I bolted on and eyeballed so I could shoot it a few times. It will be a bit more fair of a comparison once all accessories are on it later this week.
