i was wondering what kind of fletching glue is best for carbon arrows.
I have tried about them all, and have came to the conclution that AAE fastgel or goattuff is about the best. Cyanoacrylate is the active ingredient in these and superglues. So be warned. They are brittle but hold fletchings better than most. But that smell about knocks me out. And its messy. But for carbons, it gets the job done.
But I recently have found the cats meow. I used bohning fletch tape to fletch up a doz alum with feathers. And its the neatest stuff. Little time consuming but does a very neat job. I also like platinum for aluminums. Been shooting those arrows all day with my longbow and not a feather one has came loose.
