Glad to see this in its own thread. Very good trick that should be shared.
I think this is a better way than doing the similar bit without the extra string loop on the arrow. The other way, my string would always slip off of the end of the slide and end up gripping the arrow shaft and keep it from sliding the way it should.
This way, with the arrow's loop long enough to clear the nock, it should pull back less weeds and catch on less timber than a regular slide equiped arrow.
