I am not so sure that more Game Wardens are the answer to anyones problems when it comes to game management in Washington State. They are simply out there making sure that everyone (sportsman) follow the regulations set by the state and wdfw whilethey are in the field hunting/fishing. I personally dont need someone looking over my shoulder making sure that I am safe, that is what hunting partners and hunters education is for. As for them writing more tickets, that sounds good until it is you that gets ticketed. And as for calling the game warden on a hunting party, did you try mentioning the fact that theymight want to properly tag their animals before they get ticketed? who knows, maybe they would have thanked you for your concern and simply taken care of it. As a fellow sportsman, i would want to help somebody out/ have someone help me out before trying to get em busted! And hey, if this state sucks so bad and the $165 is too much.....quit hunting or go to another state were there are more hunter friendly regulations, but it will cost a heck of alot more. I spent more on beer last week than the multi season tag costs.
