Default RE: trigger for mauser?

I too had a Mauser 1909 with the two stage trigger until I replaced it with a Timney trigger this summer. I am not a gunsmith by any means and I would say that if you have access to a dremel tool, do it yourself. The trigger takes about 5 minutes to install with no adjustments as they come from the factory already adjusted. I spent about 15 minutes with a dremel inletting the new trigger into the stock. I would say that inletting is the hardest part. If your gun has the safety on the bolt shroud, get the Timney Sportsman without side safety for $28 from Midway and have some fun.
