RE: trigger for mauser?
The two stage mauser trigger isnt like triggers on sporters. There are lots of good triggers available, Timney, Shilen, and some others. I think most of them cost about 75 -100 bucks. You will need to decide what kind of safety you want too. The replacement triggers can be had with a trigger block safety that will require a cut in the stock along the right side of the tang. There are a variety of cocking shroud safeties also that cost anywhere from 100 up to 300 bucks and require some milling and finishing. The cheapest fastest thing to do would be to get one of the Timney triggers from Midway with the side safety, and install it yourself. Its very simple, one screw and one pin. Check out the Brownell catalog too. Dayton Traister makes a replacement trigger for mausers that isnt adjustable but only costs about 40$ if I remember right. If cheap and fast isnt what you want, you can get a Jewell trigger for about 175, and a three position PME safety for about 250 and unless you have a mill installation will cost about 60 or so bucks.
