Went out yesterday for what should have long ago been the last trip of the year in the interior. The weather has been gorgeous to say the least wearing only a t shirt, wool long sleeve shirt, base ball cap, polar fleece pants and a pair of waders, we fished till dark. Normally to do anything outside, espicallly dealing with water you are wearing every concievable piece of warmth you can find!!! Well we both nabbed nice grayling, and while I was showing him how to improve his fly casting at the boat launch after the day was over I managed to nab another one for a few moments before the hook pulled free. If the weather holds, we'll go out again next weekend when he returns from a work trip. Man what a year!
