Default RE: Too late for clover?

I have planted in Virginia for years. Usually any clover that we planted after the very first of spring has not survived the heat. While a percentage of clover will survive, the best time to plant is @ the end of winter; here it is @ Feb/Mar. The old farmers technique that still works well is to toss seed in the last snow, it realy works.
