Here's my recent customer service experience with them.......

For X-Mas I used a gift card to buy one of their nice XPG Zenon flashlights (one of those $50 jobs)
Anyway I used it quite a bit in my basement while running wire ect in building my workshop.
It seemed to me like the batteries died pretty quick?

3 days ago I have a padded envelope in the mail from Cabelas?
It has a 3 pack of 3V lithium batteries with an apologeticletter stating that they MIGHT have identified a problem with the batteries that went with that run and to take care of any potential problems they were supplying me with 3 brand new Panasonic Lithium batteries free of charge IN THE EVENT that I might have an issue. Wishing me many years of solid performance from their product.

Now THAT'S customer service.
I use a similar $50 flashlight at work every day. I am an electrician. My flashlight uses 3v lithium photo battiries. 2 of them. While using the light a lot, you will burn up a set of battries in one day (8 hours or less). However, I love this light! Brightest thing ever. I've used it a lot in tracking deer, its great, just make sure your batteries are fresh before the task.
