My grandfather used to kill alot of deer from natural ground blinds. He'd dig a pit in the ground and pile up some leaves and branches around it. I'm going to give it a try this year to see how he did things back in the day (except he had a recurve). It seems more challenging and more exciting. Kind of like a more intimate, spiritual experience if you know what I mean. Anybody else do this?
