I blew through my Yellow jacket on the first shot right to the fletching and I'm only shooting about 260fps
If you hit it in the middle you didn't. I shoot over 400 grains hunting arrows, with speeds in excess of 300 FPS, and the only time i've ever done that was on an older one that had the center shot out of it.. not calling you a lair, just hard to believe.
Hint on the yellow jacket. Try shooting it in different places, if you shoot the same spot you will hollow it out.
