Default RE: Public Land Tips

What is the weather like there?
Is it wet or is it dry.

If it is dry stay close to creeks and streams.
Find a creek or stream and walk it untile you find signs of turkeys.
Animals are like us when it is dry they have to get water to drink.
And try to go where it is hard to get to.
Most hunters go the easy way.
So if you go where they don't you have a better chance
Of getting a turkey.
If it is like it is in NC public land.
Its thick over grown but thats where I found the turkeys.
In thick stuff close to a stream.
A lot of hunters hunt the public lands here so the turkeys
Stayed in the thick stuff.
Here where I was hunting they didn't respond to
Crow or owl calls.
If they don't try a duck or goose call.
If it is like here they just don't respond to anything I tryed.

I hope this helps
Good Luck and get a Big One
