I like the Winchester 3" SuperX 00 Buck because it has 15 pellets. With my Rem 870 and modified choke, it works very well on deer out to about 70 yds. On an 8" pie plate, I generally get about 3 or 4 pellets to hit target at 50 yds., definately more than adequate for deer.
