50lb stock salt 100lb mineral salt 50lb dicalcium phosphate Mix using a coffee can 1 part stock salt and 2 parts mineral salt and 1 part dicalcium phosphate. This 200 lbs can make 2 good sized licks and will cost about $25.00 at your local feed store. I tried it this year putting it out in Feb. and now in May the deer are digging in my licks like crazy. Clear a spot 3 or 4 feet diameter and dig a hole about 3 or 4 inches deep about 2 feet diameter to contain the mixture and pour it in and let the rain melt it into the dirt.
