That all depends weather you managed to puncture a lung or not,it's hard to say.The bigger question is why did the arrow only penetrate an inch? Even if the blades did not open it should have penetrated more unless your set up is way too low on KE for a mechaical or there was some other issue.Was it a broadside shot? I once drew my bow back then let it down and drew it again.In the process my nock came almost off the bowstring.The arrow flew kinda funny and only penetrated slightly and fell out.That was using a fixed head a long time ago.I did'nt realize what happened until afterwards.Have you killed deer with this set up before?Oh and nice buck in the pic.
