RE: Got My New Bow
Why do you need to put the fletching though first? Can't it be loaded from behind? You know, just stick the head through the rest? Well after thinking about it, it would be a pain in the butt doing that to. Well at least in hunting all you have to do is nock an arrow once and you're ready. I guess this thingy neatly holds the arrow while you sit in the stand too? No bang, clatter or any arrows fall off the rest? My only concern has ever been magnet life and or failure? But now that I look at loading..... I don't like that either. Even the venerable whisker bisquit did away with that loading technique and cut a slot. I would think with the proper engineering they could do the same thing with the air rest, especially with the skinnier carbons. If anyone had a creep in his draw at fulldraw he'd surely have a problem.[8D][8D] I guess this thing would make them correct that form flaw pretty quickly. Is the rest padded for silence, if not could you line it with moleskin or isn't there enough clearanace for fletchings with that. If you didn't have your bow set up to shoot perfect darts, ie nock height etc, it would seem you'd know immediately and get some fletching slap.
