Vapo is 100% right. Large folks get hammered harder as a rule than smaller lighter people. Light peole seem to roll with the punch better than big more stanionary people. Rifle fit really has nothing to do with the size of the shooter, other than real small folks and kide may be better suited to shorter stocks. The 700 Remington fits me the best recoil wise and I am a big guy. However that fit may be different for the next guy regardless of size. Savage rifles (although I am fond of them), Kick the hell out me where the Remington in the same calber is nowhere near as bad.
