I am 6'3 and 250lb.I have two diffrent Browing a-bolts and they both fit well.The distance between the recoil pad and the trigger is 1/2 of an inch short.If you find it a problem go to a gunsmith and have him put a recoil pad spacer in.Most of the time it will be about $50.00.
