My opinion is that the better the equipment the better your "misses" will be. What I mean by that is if you give a terrible golfer Tiger's clubs he isn't gonna start shooting in the 70's..........but his horrible shots will now be bad.......his bad will be ok.........and his good will be real good. If you miss hit a 25 cent golf ball with a $5 club it will be an ugly sight. Miss hit a $5 golf ball with a $400 club and it still won't be pretty........just not as ugly.

Top shelf stuff won't make you better alone........but the forgiveness and confidence you get along with it will help.
I will agree with Atlas on this one, better equipment helps your bad shots be "less bad". I have friends with 20 year old bows hunt way better most hunters. Personal choice, I like the high end stuff, I can afford it so I shoot it. It is about just being in the woods, not what your hunting with.
I agree with this theory but a good golfer can use old "blades" and hit it great, have you ever tried to hit a golf ball with some of those things? I don't think an average shooter "needs" the "best" equipment there is because his average skills cannot take full advantage of it. I do hoiwever believe that everyone needs "quality" equipment. Couple that with confidence in your self and your gear and there you go
