Great idea! Where did you get the strap? Was that at walmart too?
I had thought about doing something like that and not even putting the blind in the bag. I am going to get one of the backpacks when they come out though. They should be incredible. They hold everything including your bow, water, chairs,etc.

No ,as I mentioned I got the carry strap at the IA deer classic. Backpack will cause the blind to ride
TOO high and catch tree branches; I've been there and tried that. Would work fine carrying in the wide open only.
