Default old guns

The other day I was on the gun thread and saw a link to the Browning home page, so being a browning lover I went to the page and found a thread that would tell you when your gun was made by the serial number. I printed the info and last night I was in the celler and opened the gun safe and just for the heck of it I checked the old Browning Auto-5 that I got passed down to me from my grand dad to my dad to me and found that it was made in 1916. My Grand dad bought it new. Now I shot 2 deer with this gun. I was thinking how many things I have that are 90 years old. Nothing and to think that it still works great. If only everything could be built as well as a Browning. So my question to you is. What is the oldest gun you have ever taken a deer with and how did you come about getting that gun. I think this could be fun. The memories I have of hunting with my grand pop and him using that gun are somthing I will treasure to the grave. Mike
