Definately mornings, seeing the woods come alive and having the whole day ahead with no worries about anything except if you'll take a shot or just enjoy the peacefulness. Even when duck hunting I prefer mornings because you can go back to camp and clean the birds any way you want instead of just gutting them and leaving the rest for the light of the next day. I have'nt shot at a deer with my bow yet but would probably pass on most deer at the end of the day simply because I would go nuts if I couldn't find it then and had to go through the night wondering about my deer and if the coyotes were around, too much stress.
