I've had a buck within 5 yards of me using diluted baking soda. I was sitting at the base of a tree.

I wash my clothes, take a bath and brush my teeth with Arm & Hammer. After bathing, I put some dry under my arms and on my feet. I dissolve some in a spray bottle and spray my boots and bow.

Works. Cheap. A large box lasts all season.
