I was out mid week and took a decent jake, another guy I hunt with got a 20lb tom the day after I did, on wed. And thurs. I helped bring in another tom for a close friend, it ended up being 25 3/4 lbs. There are alot of birds this year! very mild winter to say the least! And yes the ticks are bad! Get you some Sawyer and treat your cloths, that stuff works wonders! Been raining here in Kansas City since Thurs night. more tomorrow. Hopefully tues. will have sun again. Good luck to all.
